We are alarm clocks, cooks, maids, waitresses, teachers, educators, nurses, referees, safety supervisors, handyman, security officers, photographers, counsellors, mental health advocates, chauffeurs, event planners, schedule keepers, adventure chasers, hairdressers, personal assistants, role models, atms, booboo kissers, we also scare away the boogie man and are a safe space for every emotion. We don't get paid holidays, sick days, or days off. We work day and night. I’m happily on call for the rest of my life to the most amazing little people.

Our family has been an approved Day Home for almost 10 years. Nutritional lunches and snacks provided. We offer full-time, part-time or back up care including evenings and occasional weekends upon request. Must be comfortable with transportation as we attend community playgroups and library programs, we also help with school drop off and pick ups, and getting them to sports!
At Prairie Explorers Childcare we learn about sharing, being kind, manners, proper handwashing, respecting each other, and body boundaries. We also offer a variety of daily indoor and outdoor activities (weather permitting), It's not just about keeping kids safe, it's about nurturing their curiosity and creativity individually and in group settings whether it be educational activities, arts or crafts, sensory bins, water play including the spray park in the summer, fort building or cardboard creations with markers and imaginations, colouring, reading, both structured and FreePlay not only in our home, but in our fully fenced backyard.
